What we store locally

TimeSync stores two things in your browser's localStorage:

Share links encode your team configuration in the URL query string. No server stores this data; it is decoded entirely in your browser.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4(GA4) to collect anonymous, aggregate usage data — page views, feature interactions (e.g. “added a city”, “copied share link”), and approximate geographic region. GA4 does not receive your name, email, or any personally identifiable information.

Analytics can be blocked with any standard content blocker (uBlock Origin, Ghostery, etc.) without affecting the tool's functionality. We do not use analytics data for advertising targeting.

Cookies

TimeSync itself sets no cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies (e.g. _ga,_ga_*) for session tracking. These are first-party cookies scoped to this domain. You can delete or block them via your browser settings.

If Google AdSense ads are displayed (see below), additional cookies may be set by Google to serve and measure ads. These are subject to Google's cookie policy.

Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)

TimeSync may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.

Ad slots on this site are clearly labelled “Ad”. The editorial content of the site is not influenced by advertisers. We do not share personally identifiable information with advertisers.

Data retention and deletion

Since no personal data is transmitted to our servers, there is no server-side data to delete. You can clear all locally stored data at any time via your browser's “Clear site data” or “Clear localStorage” function.
